So what makes a Distinction student, considering it’s a rare award, given to less than 2% of our student base?
- Technical ability
It goes without saying that the submissions for the Final Assignment must be technically proficient in terms of exposure, sharpness and white balance. - Creative merit
As well as showing control of the camera, a Distinction student must show creative forethought and the ability to realise that vision in the photograph. They must go beyond the norm and deliver a shot which is impressive and both creative and technical levels.
